AUTHORS

Participating Authors

Dr. John Baumgardner – Catastrophic Plate Tectonics

Dr. Baumgardner was invited to be a part of the Flood Science Review before our public announcement was made by the Creation Research Society in January 2009.  He graciously agreed to participate and has diligently worked on and contributed to this Review from its start to completion.

Dr. Walt Brown – Hydroplate Theory

Dr. Brown helped structure and create the Flood Science Review. He was there at its inception and helped define the process we would follow for the selection of authors and panelists and the Review itself.

Dr. Brown participated through the completion of the third round of Panel questions, but then unfortunately decided to withdraw from our Review.

Dr. Larry Vardiman – Vapor Canopy

Dr. Vardiman was invited to be a part of the Flood Science Review before our public announcement was made by the Creation Research Society in January 2009.  He graciously agreed to participate and did so through the Panel Selection.

Unfortunately, Dr. Vardiman developed serious health issues which required him to drop out of the Review before the Panel Rounds began.  While not participating, he remained connected and aware of the progress of our Review.  Dr. Vardiman has since recovered from his illness.  Praise God!

Non-Participating Authors

Dr. Davis Young – Old Earth, No Global Flood

Dr. Davis Young was invited to participate in this Review but he declined. He suggested if our Panel and other authors wanted to understand his position, we should read his book: The Bible, Rocks and Time: Geological Evidence for the Age of the Earth.

Dr. Hugh Ross – Local Flood

Dr. Hugh Ross was invited to participate in this Review but he declined. The Washington DC chapter of Reasons to Believe recommended we include the following article within our Review to better understand their position: Noah’s Flood: A Bird’s Eye View.

Dr. Carol Ann Hill – Local Flood

Dr. Carol Ann Hill was invited to participate in this Review but she declined.  She suggested if our Panel and other authors wanted to understand her position, we should read two articles: Flood Geology and the Grand Canyon: A Critique, and The Noachian Flood: Universal or Local?
